RAPSA sponsorships are funded by the generosity of local businesses and contributions by advocates of quality education.

Conference sponsorships are to provide monetary assistance to those who would otherwise be unable to attend this professional development program.

How to Apply

Please explain how attendance at the At-Promise Conference will assist you in meeting your professional or community service goals. Include any special circumstances you wish the Sponsorship Review Committee to consider.

Application Deadline: October 30, 2009

Because financial resources for this award are limited, the Sponsorship Review Committee encourages applications from people for whom this award would make a difference to their ability to attend the conference. Priority will be given to those who are active practitioners working in some aspect of teaching or support of at-promise youth on a day-to-day-basis and are determined by the Sponsorship Review Committee to have demonstrated a commitment to professionalism, leadership, and increased knowledge of strategies to empower at-promise students. Sponsorship recipients will be eligible to receive a Full Conference Registration (valued at $695.00).

Award winners will be notified by November 20, 2009. Contact 800.871.7482 or info@rapsa.org with any questions. While we aim to obtain sponsorships for 100% of the applicants, it is not likely there will be enough funds to sponsor all applicants.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA & IMPORTANT DATES:
1. In order to be considered for a RAPSA Community Sponsorship registration, you must complete and return the Sponsorship Application form by October 30, 2009.
2. The Sponsorship Review Committee will review all applicants carefully for eligibility. You must fill the form out completely and write a short essay on why you are requesting the conference registration sponsorship. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone by November 20, 2009.
3. If you are accepted to receive a sponsored conference registration, you must reply to info@rapsa.org by December 4, 2009, or your spot will be given to the next eligible applicant.
